Why buy £2/£3 jars of pesto when you can make it for so much less?
You Will Need...
50g Pine Nuts
Tablespoon of Gourmet Garden basil (or large bunch of fresh herb
50g Parmesan
Tablespoon of Gourmet Garden garlic (or 2 cloves)
150ml of Olive Oil
Method...
1). Toast your nuts in a dry pan until slightly brown
2). Add all ingredients and blend
3). Once blitz put in a clean jar and keep refrigerated. It will keep for about 2 weeks - what did I say..Easy!
& don't worry about using it all up as there are so many things you could use it with - chicken, pizza, salad, shrimp, sandwiches, steak, potatoes and many more.
