The Stable {Restaurant, Bristol}*

Last weekend it was a wet and windy winters day and all I wanted to do was find somewhere warm that served yummy food and fester there until the summer.

Although the likelihood of me finding somewhere to stay for 4 months seemed slim, the
lovely people at The Stable invited me to try one of their pizzas. I obviously leaped at the chance!...Who wouldn't?

It was absolutely buzzing but thankfully it didn't take us long to be presented with a table. The place felt very communal with wooden tables and benches everywhere.

They serve mainly cider, pizza and pies and they seem to do it very well. Salads are also present on their menus if your into that sort of thing... Me, however am not.

Anyway, after umm-ing and ahh-ing for what seemed like forever I finally chose the chicken pizza and D The Longhorn Jim.

We even had heavy duty pizza cutters - very snazzy!

- Obviously we had to swap a couple slices!

Their endless selection of cider was also a highlight and not too badly priced may I add.

Me and D both went for the Ashridge Cider Blush, which I  recommend by the way! If your into flat mellow cider

Chin Chin!

Cutlery still sparkling clean after our meals - You're mad if you use them for pizza!

All in all, our pizzas were good, the cider was lovely and the pies looked amazing! (someone please go have a pie and let me know what they're like). Plus the place was heaving so they must be doing something right.

Disclaimer note: One of the pizzas was provided free of charge. However, I purchased all drinks and second pizza. This did not manipulate my review or feelings towards the establishment. Luchia Cooks only posts opinions and recipes of my own and of my own organic approval.
