Quick and easy apple pancakes

A stack of fresh pancakes is one of my favourite sights. This apple pancake recipe is perfect for breakfast or dessert, depending on what you accompany it with.

How to make homemade lemon curd

I absolutely love cooking jams, curds and basically anything you can put in a jar. There is something really lovely about giving edible gifts, and not just your standard brownie or cake, as it's something much more special than a gift voucher or cash.

Banana and blueberry protein flapjacks

Now you might be thinking, has she gone completely mad who wants protein flapjacks in November? I'm not dieting, i'm already drooling thinking about how many Christmas dinners I can get in before the new year! And even if this is the case, these flapjacks are so tasty you won't even realise they have protein in them!

Or, if you're a gym-goer (like i'm currently trying to be) these flapjacks are a great alternative to the ordinary shake!

Happy pancake day!

Happy pancake day y'all! I love this day so much – what better excuse to grab your jar of Nutella or maple syrup (or both, naughty) and smother it all over your fluffy pancakes.

Who's after some great fail-proof pancake recipes? These are going to transform your life because they did mine!

Dairy-Free Overnight Oats

I have been terrible at blogging this month and feel horrible about it! If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you'll know that I've started my new job and although I'm absolutely loving it, having any spare time has become a rarity!
So what better to blog about then food and being in a rush.. here is my overnight oats – a delicious breakfast for people in a rush!

Oreo Pancakes

Happy Pancake Day everyone! I really didn't know what to post today, I didn't want to make a classic it had to be something different. Then I saw an American pin for  'Oreo pancakes' and thought that's it! Looking through the recipe made my teeth hurt and would be too much even to have as a dessert. So here is my own recipe for healthy Oreo cookies pancakes.

HOW TO; Poach An Egg

Now, this post may seem slightly pointless but I swear to you it has taken me years to master the art of poaching an egg! I love eggs they are so versatile. You can fry them, scramble them, bake them - you name it i'm sure you can do it at ease!

But then we have poaching... I use to get so confused with all the different poaching utensils and methods out there! I've been told to use clingfilm, a silicon cupcake mould, a mug, vinegar..must I go on? Luckily no more forums, no more asking questions because
I have finally found a technique that works time after time!

God Bless America... and their pancakes!

Fluffy american styled pancakes (so much better than crepes in my opinion). This recipe is by far the best thing since sliced bread.

It's great because it can be made into a sweet or savoury dish. I made it for a 'special' breakfast and it went down great, the funny thing is there isn't anything special about eggs, milk and flour - its so ordinary but these pancakes are so rare in the UK.

You will have everything you already need, stored away in their cupboards/fridge, so lets get started!
