Raspberry and avocado fudgy brownies bites

I've created something so filthy, so naughty, that I felt like locking it away and throwing away the key. Keeping it a dark and delicious secret all for myself. But this chocolately, fudgy piece of bliss can't be restrained. It's escaped and is heading straight to you! WHAM!

Similar to their more sensible, down-to-earth sibling, all you need is:

1 large avocado (or 2 small)
1 large egg
337.5g granulated sugar
94g cocoa powder
40g plain flour
Punnet of raspberries
250g Maltesers Teasers chocolate bar

Method:

1). Preheat oven to 180C. Mash your avocado/s until smooth

2). Mix in egg

3). Add sugar and cocoa powder

4). Once these ingredients have been mixed in properly, carefully fold in your raspberries and broken pieces of your chocolate bar (leave a handful of both for the top)

5). Spoon your mixture into cupcake cases for small bites or a greased tin if you want to size them yourself

6). Sprinkle rest of the chocolate pieces and raspberries push them into the mixture so you can still see them on top. Next pop them in the oven for about 20–25 minutes until cooked

7). Once ready, pull them out and leave to cool

8). And finally serve! I sifted icing sugar and some left over raspberries over mine just to make it even more naughty!

These devilish brownies are a mischievous bunch
but totally worth getting to know.

Super gooey, you've got to lock these bad boys up or there is no stopping them!

Fan of butter substitutes? Forget avocado, I've got another one here

    2. I love baking with alternative ingredients like avocados or courgettes. Would love to try this but I don't eat eggs so would have to find a substitute. Looks delicious though!

    3. Thanks Ms Mistry! Greek yoghurt works as a great substitute for egg – here's a recipe you could follow (just exclude the egg) http://www.luchiacooks.com/2014/04/greek-yoghurt-brownies.html :)
